Internal Aircraft Creation
Navigate to the Aircraft Object and click button ¨New¨.
Select Record Type ¨Internal Aircraft¨.
After the “Continue” button, add Aircraft Name, the A/C Type, the Registration and the Registration Country.
Select the Currency, the Commercial and Private AOCs.
Ensure ¨Is Internal Aircraft¨ checkbox is ticked.
Select the Aircraft Contract relating to that specific Aircraft
A/C Speeds and Capacity
Fill in the Pref Cruise Mach and Pref Cruise Knots. If necessary, you can select multiple speeds to setup the Aircraft profile.
Add Cockpit Crew and Passenger Seating information (Cabin Crew, Crew Bunks and Pax Seats).
Contacts & Suppliers
Click magnifying glass icon to choose the Operator.
Choose the Ops Type and Charter Approval
A/C Rates and Descriptions
If the Aircraft flies commercially, it is a must fill in the relevant fields if the A/C has Charter Rates.
In the Aircraft Descriptions section, add Interior Layout description which will be displayed on the Charter Client Quote documents
Click “Save” to finish.
External Aircraft Creation
Navigate to the Aircraft Object and click button ¨New¨.
Select Record Type ¨External Aircraft¨.
After the “Continue” button, add Aircraft Name, the A/C Type, the Registration and the Registration Country.
Fill in the information related to the “Flight Planning” and “Technical Information”
Add Cockpit Crew, Cabin Crew Capacity and number of the Pax Seats in the A/C Speeds and Capacity section.
Add the Base Airport and the Pref Cruise Mach mode from the pick-list (A/C Speeds and Capacity section).
Add one or more Cruise Modes according the Aircraft Type (A/C Speeds and Capacity section).
Aircraft Contact & Description
Add Aircraft Operator.
Select Ops and Charter Approval type
If needed add descriptions of Aircraft Notes, Interior, Exterior and Sleep Layout.
Add Maximum Take Off Weight (MTOW) and select its Units.
Fill in A/C Rates and Engines.
Add Hourly Charter Rates to a Commercial Aircraft
Navigate to the relevant Aircraft and scroll down on the Details Page until “A/C Rates”
The field Charter Rate is calculated as the sum of the A/C Contract Hourly Rate plus the A/C Emissions Surcharge.
The field Empty Leg Rate is based on the A/C Contract Empty Leg Rate plus the A/C Emissions Surcharge.
NOTE: The Charter Rate and the Empty Leg Rate can only be changed by editing the above fields (A/C Contract Empty Leg Rate plus the A/C Emissions Surcharge).
Populate the field Demurrage with a number of charter hours invoiced per 24-hour period.
The field Charter Km Rate is calculated as the sum of the A/C Contract Km Rate plus the A/C Contract Emissions Surcharge (Km).
The field Empty Leg Km Rate is based on the A/C Contract Empty Leg Km Rate plus the A/C Contract Emissions Surcharge (Km)
NOTE: The Charter Km Rate and the Empty Leg Km Rate can only be changed by editing the above fields.
Change Internal Aircraft Registration
Search for the Aircraft's Registration in the Search bar.
In the search results, select the necessary Aircraft Record.
On the Aircraft record, click the button Edit.
Change the Aircraft registration to ensure the new registration is reflected in Aircraft Name and Aircraft registration fields and click “Save”.
Changing the Contract Name
Click on the Contract record found under Aircraft Detail Information section.
On the Contract record, click Edit and change the "Registration" part of the Contract Name to include the new Aircraft Registration.
NOTE: All past Flight Legs will not be affected, as the old registration will remain in the naming of the Flight Legs concerning the old registration.
Change Internal Aircraft to External
Step 1. Remove the Aircraft Charter Rates and Demurrage
Please skip step 1 if the A/C flies only privately
Search for the Aircraft's Registration in the Search bar
On the Aircraft Record, scroll down to A/C Rates section.
Change the A/C Contract Hourly Rate, A/C Contract Empty Leg Rate, Charter Rate and Empty Leg Rate
Change the Demurrage to the format of 00:00.
Step 2: Setting the Aircraft to External
On the Aircraft Record, click Change button on the Record Type.
Change the Aircraft Record Type to ¨External Aircraft¨ and click Continue and ensure the ¨Is Internal Aircraft¨ checkbox is not ticked.
Clear the fields of AOC.
Change the Aircraft Operator that the Aircraft is Operated by.
If the Aircraft is not going to be operated anymore in the future, please select the Operator containing the word Old. As an example, ¨Execujet Europe Old Aircraft¨.
Click Save to complete the procedure.
Set up Avinode Aircraft
Avinode aircraft can be synced within FlightWare by following the instruction below:
Navigate to the Aircraft record and check the following field
If your region does not have any Aircraft synced with Avinode, contact Avinode to request sending schedule data and downloading the flight requests to FlightWare.
After this has been confirmed by Avinode, the Aircraft has to be set as an Avinode Aircraft as shown in the previous step.
