Create an Airport

  1. Navigate to the Airport object and click New
    On the Lightning version, if the Airport object is not displayed in the tabs bar, go to App > Search App and Item > Airport > New (screenshot 1)

  2. Fill out the required information

  3. Click Save and the airport will be created

Add an Airport Category

  1. Navigate to the Airport Categories object and click New (see screenshot 1)

  2. Alternatively, navigate to an Airport record and go to the Airport Categories in the Related Tab and click New - the Airport field will be populated automatically (see screenshot 2)

  3. Fill in the required information

  4. If you enter an Operator, the category will only apply when it matches the Operator of a flight leg’s aircraft

  5. If you enter an Aircraft Type, the category will only apply when it matches the Aircraft Type of a flight leg’s aircraft

  6. Aircraft Type and Operator can both be set for the same Category. This allows different Operators to add several Airport Categories for their Aircraft 

  7. Click on Save and your Airport Category will be saved against selected Airport

Add Daylight Savings Times

  1. Navigate to an Airport record and scroll down to the Airport DST section and click New

  2. Populate the Start (UTC) and End (UTC) fields in the following format: dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm. (e.g. 30/03/2014 01:00)

  3. Click Save and the airport’s Current Time zone will be recalculated.
