Create an Account

  1. Navigate to Accounts and click New . (screenshot 1)

  2. Select a Record Type - there is a brief description of each record type on this screen

  3. Fill in the contact details, paying special attention to the mandatory fields in red . (screenshot 2)

  4. Ensure that the following format is followed when entering a new Account:

    1. Account Name starts with a capital letter and is followed by lower-case letters 

      1. If an Account Name consists of more than two words, they should both begin with a capital letter and be followed by lower-case letters.

    2. Abbr Name should be a shortened version of Account's full name and not contain any special characters

    3.  Phone and fax numbers should be stored in the following format: +00123456789 (plus sign, country code, number, with no spaces in between)

  5. Click Save
