Alternate Operators allow Users to specify different Operators for an Aircraft when creating a Trip. Internal Crew can be assigned to Trips flown by an Alternate Operator but these Crew Members require an Aircraft Assignment in order to be scheduled.
Step 1: Navigate to Assignments
Go to the 'Staff' tab
Search for the User in the search bar
Note: If your search entry results in only one record then that Staff Record will auto-display
Click on Assignments
Step 2: Create an Assignment for Alternate Operator
Populate the Aircraft field from the new Aircraft Assignment Page
Select the Operator/AOC from the AOC field
Ensure the Crew Function & Experience field are populated
Click Save and the assignment will be created successfully
