  1. The Augmented Crew Scheduling, is available via the Action Panel. (screenshot 1. 1).

  2. The Augmented Crew works in the same way as the Multi-Crew Scheduling. It will be available according to the A/C specific and at least 3 members will have to be selected.

  3. The “Auto-assign Roles” button will select as many pilot roles as the aircraft allows with the restriction of only 1 CP.

  4. After the roles have been adjusted, the available overrides for that particular AOC can be selected.

  5. After all crew members are scheduled, the warnings screen will show:
    - Legs scheduled on this Trip
    - All legs in between the legs of the Trip
    - All legs up to 14 days after the last scheduled leg of the Trip

NOTES:

  • With Augmented Crew, the same crew members have to be scheduled for all the Flight Legs of an FDP.

  • If a Trip has several aircraft, and one of them has no rest seats or bunk beds, the Augmented Crew will not be available and Multi-Crew Scheduling process will have to be used (screenshot 2)

  • In a Trip, all crew members on each flight leg have to be scheduled either with Multi-Scheduling or Augmented Crew process. (screenshot 3)

  • In a Trip with 2 or more flight legs, the crew can be scheduled with Multi-Scheduling for the first leg and with Augmented Crew for the second leg, and vice versa.

  • With a previously selected trip, when one or more crew members are missing from an Augmented Team, the flight leg is shown in a different colour (screenshot 4)
