Flight Board Timeline Navigation

1. To access the flight board, click the Flight Board tab on NuvolOps (screenshot 1)

2. See screenshot below to review the navigation controls (screenshot 2)

3. Master Search allows you to search for flights using Trip Number, Trip Account, A/C or Airport (screenshot 2.1)

4. The Aircraft Filter allows you to select whether you want to see all aircraft, or only aircraft with activity in the selected time period (screenshot 2.2)

5. Settings will allow you to modify the template, display density, theme as well as to apply filters(screenshot 2.3)

6. The Date Selector allows you to display up to 15 days. Choose your start and end dates to select (screenshot 2.4)

7. The Go To Today button allows you to return to the current date from any other date (screenshot 2.5)

8. To switch between the timeline and list view, click the View Selector (screenshot 2.6)

9. The A/C Location button allows you to know where the Aircraft is, and if there is a mismatch between timeline events. Aircraft Location is calculated using the actual time and location whenever possible (screenshot 2. 7)

10. The Leg Stacking button allows you to turn Flight Stacks on or off. Flight Stacks are generated and placed on the Flight Board Timeline when two or more flights overlap. The stack will show the flights contained and their stages. Click to expand the Flight Stack to review the flights separately (screenshot 2. 8)

11. Refresh the page with the Manual Refresh Button (screenshot 2. 9)

Colour Coding (Charter Mode)

Each event is displayed in blocks and their colour define their operational status

1. GREEN - confirmed flight (Owner, Charter, Pref Charter). (screenshot 3. 1)

2. ORANGE - confirmed Positioning Flight (screenshot 3. 2)

3. BLUE - not confirmed flight (Optioned) (screenshot 3. 3)

4. ORANGE WITH STRIPES - Maintenance event planned (screenshot 3. 4)

5. RED WITH STRIPES - Maintenance event in progress (screenshot 3. 5)

6. GREEN WITH STRIPES - Maintenance event completed (screenshot 3. 6)

7. BLUE WITH STRIPES - the A/C is not available (due to Aircraft previously booked, unavailable crew, etc.) (screenshot 3. 7)

Colour Coding (Ops Mode)

Flight Legs are split into 2. The top half summarises the status of all of the preparation tasks of that Flight Leg but doesn’t include Crew:

1. Red = Not Started (screenshot 3.8)

2. Orange = In Progress (screenshot 3.9)

3. Green = Completed (screenshot 3.10)
   

The bottom half represents the entry of actuals (ATOT and ALDT) into that Flight Leg with the following for Confirmed Flights: 

1. Grey = Actuals not required yet (Leg is in the future) (screenshot 3.11)

2. Red = Takeoff missing (screenshot 3.12)

3. Orange = Takeoff entered and Landing missing (screenshot 3.13)

4. Green = Takeoff and Landing entered (screenshot 3.14)

5. Actuals can’t be entered on Unconfirmed Flights so the bottom half of these Legs are shown as Black (screenshot 3.15)

Flight Leg Highlight “Glow” (Ops Mode)

In the Ops Mode a visual aid - “glow” - has been added for flight legs that require manual action.

1.Blue glow is shown around flight legs that are scheduled to depart in 15 minutes until 5 minutes after their scheduled departure.

2. Red glow is shown on  flight legs that took off but have the ATOT missing.

3. Yellow glow is shown on flight legs that landed but have the ALDT missing.

Refresh the Flight Board

1. Use the Refresh button to refresh the Flight Board manually (screenshot 4. 1)

2. The Flight Board will auto-refresh every 5 minutes from the last refresh

3. Auto Refresh will NOT occur during any of the below actions:

   1. Editing a Dispatch to-Do

   2. Editing any field in Leg information before saving

   3. While on the Dispatch Checks pop-up

   4. While on the Permits pop-up

Aircraft Location

The A/C Location button allows you to know where the Aircraft is, and if there is a mismatch between Timeline Events, including both Flights and Maintenance Events. (screenshot 5)

To display aircraft location, the minimum trip stage must be Optioned. If it is activated with invalid filters, these will change to Optioned, Quotation Confirmed, Flight Confirmed, Underway and Complete.

Leg Stacking Button

A button has been added to the header to automatically unstack all flight legs (screenshot 6.1)

Regardless of this button, each single group of flight legs can be stacked or unstacked independently.

Flight Leg Tooltip

By hovering on the Flight Leg a tooltip will be displayed with the Leg Information (screenshot 7)
