Create an event

To create an event with the Crew Board:

  1. On the full crew list, hover over the right side of a crew member name and click on the “+” button (screenshot 1)

  2. Click “Add Event” to open the New Event window (screenshot 1. 2)

  3. Select an event type, a start date and time, and an end date and time or duration

  4. Click Save

NOTE: Selecting the option “Add Event” will open a pop-up to create events for the crew member.

You can choose the Event Type from the pick-list (screenshot 2. 1). All the mandatory fields are marked with *.

These event types are available:

  • Duty Roster

  • Office

  • Flight Training

  • Days Off

  • Vacation

  • Standby

  • Medical Check

  • Sick Leave

  • Grnd Training

  • Rest Period

  • Military

  • SDO

Hovering over an event will show a tooltip with all the information (screenshot 3)

NOTE: The “Related to” field (when available) will link the Duty events to the different assignments a crew member has, replicating the behaviour of the Staff Calendar

Edit / delete an event

  1. To edit the start/end date, the time of the event or the airport/location, click on the mentioned fields and amend accordingly.

  2. The system will automatically update the “Duration” field. (screenshot 4. 1)

  3. To save the change click “Save” (screenshot 4. 2)


  1. To delete the event, hover the mouse on the event. This will show the event created.

  2. Click “Delete”. (screenshot 4. 3)

Clone an event

By clicking on an event previously created, the option to clone the specific event is visible (screenshot 5. 1)

When cloning an event, it will start on the day after the original event finishes and the rest of the fields will have the same values defaulted as the original event (screenshot 6).

Event Colours

Event Colours on the Crew Board have been updated to enhance the accessibility for everyone.
