Aircraft Creation

1. Navigate to the Aircraft object and click New. (screenshot 1)

2. Select the record type and click Continue

3. Tick the 'Is Internal Aircraft' box to create an internal aircraft (operated by a group company), leave it unticked to create an external aircraft (screenshot 2)

4. Enter the required fields and any other relevant information and click Save

5. The Interior Layout on the Description section of the pop-up window will be displayed in Quote documents. (screenshot 3).

Request an Alternate Operator AOC

1. Create a new aircraft and scroll down in the Details Tab, until you see Contact & Suppliers. Select an account on the Alternate Operator field. (screenshot 4)

2. From this account, send a Chatter to FlightWare Support requesting to have an AOC configured for the Alternate Operator

3. Once the request is completed, you will be able to select this operator on trips using this aircraft

Add Hourly Charter Rates to a Commercial Aircraft

1. Navigate to the relevant Aircraft and scroll down to A/C Rates on the Details Tab. (screenshot 5)

2. Populate the fields 'A/C Contract Hourly Rate' and 'A/C Emissions Surcharge'. The field 'Charter Rate' is calculated by adding them up.

3. Populate the field 'A/C Contract Empty Leg Rate'. The field ‘Empty Leg Rate' is calculated by adding it up to 'A/C Emissions Surcharge'.

4. Populate the fields 'A/C Contract Km Rate' and 'A/C Contract Emissions Surcharge (Km)'. The field Charter Km Rate is calculated by adding them up.

5. Populate the field 'A/C Contract Empty Leg Km Rate'. The field 'Charter Km Rate' is calculated by adding it up to 'A/C Contract Emissions Surcharge (Km)'.

6. Populate the field 'Demurrage'

Change Internal Aircraft to External

1. Navigate to the aircraft record and click 'Change' under 'Record Type'. (screenshot 6)

2. Change the record type to External Aircraft and click Next (screenshot 7)

3. Untick the 'Is Internal' checkbox

4. Clear all AOC, Charter Rate and Demurrage fields

5. Update the Operator. Select an 'Old' operator (eg. ExecuJet Old Aircraft) if the aircraft is not going to be used anymore

6. Click Save

Set up Avinode Aircraft

1. If this is the first Avinode aircraft of your region, contact Avinode to request synchronization with FlightWare

2. Once the synchronization is confirmed, navigate to the Aircraft record and check the Avinode Aircraft box (screenshot 8)
