To have a competitive price in Private Aviation industry, FlightWare allows you to apply customised Aircraft Discounts based on Charter Quote Basis and Minimum Threshold Flight / Block Time. A simple customisation applying Aircraft Discount can be achieved by following this task procedure.

Create a Aircraft Discount Record

  1. On the top bar, click + to see all Objects.

  2. Select ANavigate to A/C Charter Discounts .Click ¨New¨ button. In Lightning navigate to Apps > and click New or navigate to an Aircraft record, scroll down to the A/C Charter Discounts > related list, and click New. Populate

  3. If you navigated to A/C Charter Discounts directly, populate the Aircraft Registration.

  4. From the given pick-list, select Charter Select the Charter Quote Basis. Make sure to use the same Charter Quote Basis as per the Aircraft Management Company or Aircraft., making sure that it matches that on the Aircraft or its Management Company

  5. Add the Minimum Threshold value in hours. The added format must be HHHH:MM .format

  6. Add the number of percentage discount (i.e. 5). No addition signs are required.Click Save.percentage discount in number format - if you would like to apply a 5% discount, enter '5'

  7. Click Save

Activate A/C Discount on the Aircraft Record

  1. Go to the selected Aircraft.

  2. Go to Aircraft Details section. Navigate to an aircraft that has a related A/C Discount

  3. Scroll down to the Aircraft Details section

  4. Tick the fields accordingly:

    1. Aircraft Charter Discount. Only Charter legs will be taken into process to calculate whether discount should be applied if Minimum Threshold and Charter Quote Basis are met. Total time of the positioning Flight Leg is not valid for the discount application.: Existing A/C Discounts will only be applied if this box is ticked

    2. Pos Included for Discount. : If the checkbox this box is ticked, the Positioning Charter discount will take into account whether discount should be applied if Minimum Threshold and Charter Quote Basis are met.price of positioning flight legs will be taken into account when calculating the discount threshold, and the discount will be applied to these as well as ferry flight legs
