Create and manage Assignments

  1. Navigate to the Staff tab, find a staff or crew member, and click on the Assignments tab (Screenshot 1.1)

  2. Click on New Aircraft Assignment or New Office Assignment. (Screenshot 1.2)

  3. Fill in the details. Keep in mind:

    1. If a crew member flies the same aircraft under different AOCs, one assignment will need to be created for each AOC

    2. Enter an End Date only after a crew or staff member’s employment has ended                 

  4. Click Save

  5. To modify an Assignment, click on its Crew Function cell, then edit the details and click Save (Screenshot 1.3)

Create and manage Crew Functions

  1. To create a new Crew Function:

    1. Navigate to the Crew Functions tab and click New

    2. Assign roles to the crew function (eg. Captain, Captain Second…). When an assignment is created under this crew function, the crew member will be available to perform these roles (Screenshot 1.1)

    3. Enter a short code to identify the Crew Function and click Save (Screenshot 1.2)

  2. To add required credentials to a Crew Function:

    1. Navigate to the Crew Function

    2. Click on the Related tab and find the Required Credentials related list (Screenshot 2.1)

    3. Click New (Screenshot 2.2)

    4. Enter the credential type that should be required for this crew function (Screenshot 3.1)

    5. Tick the Mandatory box if the credential should be mandatory (Screenshot 3.2):

      1. If a required credential is mandatory, you will not be able to schedule crew members under the crew function if the credential is missing or expired

      2. If a required credential is not mandatory, you will receive a warning when scheduling crew members under the crew function, but you will be able to continue

    6. Click Save
