Cancellation Terms can be found in 3 locations:

  • The Aircraft Arranger

  • The Individual A/C 

  • The Alternate Aircraft Operator

Whenever generating Quotes in NuvolOps, the system will compare the Cancellation Terms in the Operator, Selected Aircraft and Alternate Operator (if specified) and then choose the strictest terms to get the best payment terms in case of a cancellation.

Set up Arranger Cancellation Terms

  1. Navigate to an Account which is an Arranger (The field 'Is Arranger' has a value of 1)

  2. Click on or scroll down to the Cancellation Terms related list and click New Cancellation Term (Screenshot 1)

  3. Select a Record type and click Continue (Screenshot 2)

  4. Enter the number of hours before the flight at which the fee will take place; select 'Term at Signature' if the fee applies immediately after the quote has been signed (Screenshot 3.1)

  5. Enter the percentage of the price of the flight that will need to be paid (Screenshot 3.2)

  6. Click Save

  7. These terms will be taken into account for trips arranged by this account

  1. Navigate to an Aircraft

  2. Click on or scroll down to the Cancellation Terms related list and click New Cancellation Term (Screenshot 1)

  3. Select a Record type and click Next (Screenshot 2)

  4. Enter the number of hours before the flight at which the fee will take place; select 'Term at Signature' if the fee applies immediately after the quote has been signed (Screenshot 3.1)

  5. Enter the percentage of the price of the flight that will need to be paid (Screenshot 3.2)

  6. Click Save

  7. These terms will be taken into account for trips using this aircraft

  1. Navigate to an Account which is an Operator (The field 'Is Operator' has a value of 1)

  2. Click on or scroll down to the Cancellation Terms related list and click New Cancellation Term (Screenshot 1)

  3. Select a Record type and click Next (Screenshot 2)

  4. Enter the number of hours before the flight at which the fee will take place; select 'Term at Signature' if the fee applies immediately after the quote has been signed (Screenshot 3.1)

  5. Enter the percentage of the price of the flight that will need to be paid (Screenshot 3.2)

  6. Click Save

  7. These terms will be taken into account for trips operated by this account

System Logic for Cancellation Terms

The Cancellation Terms feature will always select the strictest Cancellation Terms.

An example of the system logic can be found below:

Arranger: Test Nuvolar Arranger

Cancellation Term: 12 hours 

Aircraft: T-NUVO1 Global Express

 Cancellation Term: 12 Hours 

 

NuvolOps will always choose the Aircraft 12 hour Cancellation Term when generating a Quote for this aircraft. (As it is stricter and more favourable)

The other cancellation terms shown on the below Quote are taken from the Arranger. (As this aircraft only has one 12 Hour Cancellation Term)
