How it works

NuvolOps - ForeFlight Dispatch integration is a 2-way integration where NuvolOps creates all confirmed flight legs in ForeFlight, updates them and retrieves the flight time correction and Flight Plan once available.

What information is sent and retrieved will depend on the customisation set at the Operator level.

Some of this integration will be able to be overridden by the aircraft, to allow for dispatch centers working with different operators.

Data sent from NuvolOps to ForeFlight Dispatch

When ForeFlight Dispatch integration is enabled, NuvolOps will instantly create all confirmed flight legs in ForeFlight and update them after any changes.

The following data is sent to ForeFlight Dispatch:

NuvolOps trip ID and Flight Leg number (as tags)
Aircraft registration
Callsign do we?? what are the 1111 or OOAIE??
Departure and arrival airports
Departure date and time
Crew members
PAX and pets
- If we have gender and date of birth they will be sent to the correct category, otherwise as adults.

This data will be sent to ForeFlight as soon as it is updated in NuvolOps.

In NuvolOps, there’s a new Dispatch Check that will be set to review every time data is updated in ForeFlight:

We retrieve data from ForeFlight and update it in NuvolOps every 5 minutes:

Once a route has been selected in ForeFlight, the Flight Time will get updated in NuvolOps
Once the flight plan has been filed, we retrieve it and save it as ATC Flight Plan, which then becomes available in the Crew Brief and the Crew App.
