How it works
The NuvolOps - ForeFlight Dispatch integration is a 2-way integration where NuvolOps creates all confirmed flight legs in ForeFlight, updates them, and retrieves the flight time correction and Flight Plan once available.
The information that is sent and retrieved will depend on the customisation set at the Operator level.
The configuration can be overridden by aircraft, to allow for operators with aircraft dispatched by multiple centres.
Data Sent from NuvolOps to ForeFlight Dispatch
When the ForeFlight Dispatch integration is enabled, NuvolOps will instantly create all confirmed flight legs in ForeFlight and update them after any change.
The following data is sent to ForeFlight Dispatch:
NuvolOps trip ID and Flight Leg number (as tags)
Aircraft registration
Callsign
Departure and arrival airports
Departure date and time
Crew members
PAX and pets
If we have gender and date of birth, they will be sent to the correct category, otherwise they will be sent as adults.
In NuvolOps, there’s a new Dispatch Check that will be set to “Review” every time data is automatically updated in ForeFlight:
Data Retrieved from ForeFlight Dispatch to NuvolOps
We retrieve data from ForeFlight and update it in NuvolOps every 15 minutes:
Once a route has been selected in ForeFlight, the Flight Time will get corrected in NuvolOps
Once the flight plan has been filed, we retrieve it and save it as the ATC Flight Plan, which then becomes available in the Crew Brief and the Crew App.
Data Visible in the Flight Leg Record
The following information will be available on the Flight Leg:
Link to ForeFlight Dispatch
Date and time of last time data was sent to ForeFlight

How to Activate It
Contact Support by Chatter or through support@nuvolops.com
Provide the ForeFlight API Key
To get the API Key, go to Tools > API Console > Generate API Key > Copy
Keep in mind that the API Key will only be shown once.
Provide desired behaviour (as outlined in the https://nuvolar.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/NuvolOpsWiki/pages/edit-v2/4156194817#For-the-Operator section above)
What to Do with New Aircraft
When a new aircraft is added to the fleet, the checkbox “ForeFlight Integration Enabled” should be checked.
How to Deactivate It
Deactivating the integration for the whole operator, can be done by setting the Account Parameter “Integration Enabled” in the operator to False
To deactivate it for one aircraft only, the “ForeFlight Integration Enabled” checkbox should be unchecked.
If you need assistance to change Account Parameters, please contact @NuvolOps Support via Chatter or at support@nuvolops.com
