Crew Board - Quick Guide

Access and navigate the crew board

  1. To access the crew board, click the Crew Board tab on NuvolOps or the Crew Board button on the Trip or Flight Leg record

  2. See screenshot below to review the navigation controls

  3. The date selector allows you to display up to 15 days. To select your date range, click on the start date, and end date as required

  4. The crew board will refresh automatically every 5 minutes, but you can use the manual refresh button to refresh it anytime

  5. The crew filters allow you to determine which crew members are displayed in the crew panel:

    1. Role filter: display captains, captain seconds, first officers, flight engineers, flight attendants, or inflight service personnel

    2. Operator filter: display crew belonging to a particular operator - this filter is mandatory

    3. A/C type and A/C reg filters: display crew assigned to a certain aircraft type or a particular aircraft

    4. Assignment filter: only available after filtering by A/C reg, display crew who are assigned to, assigned as home crew to, or scheduled to fly on that aircraft

  6. The crew search allows you to search for a specific crew member by name or alias

  7. The trip search allows you to search for a trip by its number, and opens up a drop down that you can use to navigate its flight legs

  8. Crew events are displayed in the main area

Create crew events

  1. Hover over the right side of a crew member on the full crew list to see the + button

  2. Click on the + button

  3. Click “Add Event” to open the New Event window

  4. Select an event type, a start date and time, and an end date and time or duration

  5. Click Save

 

 

Add crew to flight legs

  1. Use the Trip Search to find a trip

  2. Hover over the right side of a crew member on the full crew list to see the + button

  3. Click on the + button

  4. Click Add to Selected Crew - this will divide the screen into a top panel with selected crew and a bottom panel with available crew

  5. Repeat for all crew members you want to schedule on any legs of the trip

  6. Click Action Panel to replace the available crew list with the action panel

  7. Click Multi-Crew Scheduling

  8. Select the roles and flight legs for your crew or select Auto-Assign roles on the top right of the action panel

  9. Click Next

  10. Select any required overrides and click Next, or, if no override required, you can select Skip Overrides per leg, or Skip All Overrides, to skip all

  11. Review the crew members' warnings

 

Unschedule crew from flight legs

  1. Search for a Trip, or launch Crew Board from a Trip or Flight Leg record, and open the Action Panel

  2. Click Unscheduling

  3. Select the crew members to remove from flight legs, or click Unschedule All

  4. Click Next, then Confirm

  5. Review the crew members' warnings
